Workplace information: On site:  Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Salary: $30.00 per hour / 35 hours per Week 

Terms of employment: Permanent Full-time employment, Day, Overtime, Weekend 

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Responsibilities / Tasks:  Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, Mountain driving expertise, Professionalism in customer service, Load and unload goods, Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Pay and receive payments for goods, Perform brake adjustments, Perform emergency roadside repairs, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Communication systems experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment 

Security and safety: Criminal record check 

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads, Large workload, Overtime required, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Sitting
