We seek a passionate, dedicated, motivated, highly skilled, detail-oriented, and strong team player bicycle technician with over one year of demonstrated knowledge and experience as a bicycle mechanic.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Assembling and tuning new bicycles out of boxes, including high-end road bikes, full suspension, and e-bikes
· Assembling bicycles frame-up, including cable, hose, and wire routing, frame preparation, brake facing, thread chasing, and other necessary tasks
· Assessing, tuning, and repairing bicycles, including replacement of components
· Installation of paint protection film
· Documenting warranty issues and resolutions
· Accurately tagging and keeping track of bike serial numbers in our point-of-sale system
· Accurately recording production numbers to assist in cyclical reporting
· Packaging bikes for shipping
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience
· Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required
· Fluency in English is required
· 1+ years as a bicycle mechanic or builder[MM1]
· Completed relevant industry training, including:
o Shimano S-Tech
o SRAM Technical University
o Trek University (Guide Level)
o Bosch eBike training
o Specialized Level 2 eBike training
· Additional industry training is an asset, including:
o eBike motors including Fazua, TQ, Hyena, Yamaha
· Demonstrated attention to detail is a must
· Demonstrated strong time management skills
· Experience working in a team-based environment
· Experience with productivity software, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams, is an asset
· Experience utilizing POS systems (experience with Ascend software is an asset)
· Ability and willingness to work weekends and/or overtime based on seasonal demands
· Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Work Location
5057 11 St SE, Calgary, Alberta. Other work locations in Calgary, Alberta may be assigned seasonally as required.
Employment Terms
Permanent, Full-Time (approximately 40 hours per week)

$19.00 - $21.00 based on qualifications and experience
