Required by Congregation Beth Israel (Conservative synagogue)
at 989 W 28th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5Z 0E8,
Salary range $19.00-$19.75 p/h.
Must speak English.
The sucessful applicant for the Light duty cleaner position will be required to
· Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors
· Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
· Distribute clean washroom supplies and toiletries
· Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies
· Stock supply closets and other supplies' areas
· Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
· Clean and disinfect public areas and wash rooms and elevators
· Pick up debris and empty trash containers
· Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
· Report and store lost and found items
No experience is required as we will provide in house training
As we facilities are open for numerous religious and social functions which occur on Sabbath, weekends and late at nights, the successful candidate for this position is expected to be available on weekends and at night as required.
