Home Support Worker

My name is Troy and I am a Quadriplegic.  I am seeking to hire a Home Support Worker to help care for me in my home. I reside in St. Catharines, Ontario. (closest main intersection is Eastchester Avenue and Queenston Street).

This is a full time permanent position at a wage rate of $24 per hour for 30 hours per week. You will also receive an additional $6 per shift for travel expense. Must possess secondary school diploma and have two years of work experience.

Job duties are described below:

• Administer bedside and personal care such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and stretching exercises
• Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding
• May perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications
• May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds.
