Job Duties: Analyze hair and scalp condition, Provide customer hair and scalp treatment, Advise clients on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair, Clean and style wigs and hair pieces, Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences, Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair, Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair, Apply hair extensions, Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences, Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages, Supervise other hair stylists and other staff, Supervise apprentices/students in training, Maintain and order supplies
Hair Colouring Techniques: Bleach, Dyes/tints, Frosting, Streaking/highlights
Hair Styling Techniques: Blow drying, Hair braiding, Iron waving/curling, Permanents, Extensions, Twisting, Spiking, Pin curls, Roller setting
Experience Required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Education Required: 2 years to less than 3 years
