Job Title:  Restaurant Supervisor (NOC 62020)

Hourly rate $21.00 per hour
Terms of Employment:    Permanent Full Time
Working Hours:   40 hours/per week. Additional hours may be necessary to complete duties and may have to work on holidays, weekends, different shifts, and evenings.

1064003 B.C. Ltd. DBA Liuyishou Hot Pot – Robson is looking for a motivated restaurant supervisor to direct and organize staff to ensure the quality of customer service, food & beverage offerings are maintained to maximize restaurant profits and customer satisfaction during the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage the dining-room operations during shifts.
Observe staff performance and encourage improvement where necessary during shifts.
Monitor inventory and ensure that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
Answer telephones in a clear voice, coordinate and document reservations, process orders from online platforms. 
Organize special events in the restaurant, such as receptions. Maintain rapport with all departments and attend relevant meetings.
Verify temperatures, judge products' appearance and taste, and check preparation methods to determine quality. 
Review customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.
Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed by staff.
Promote great team work and readily assists with team needs throughout the shift. 
Consistently uses suggestive selling and up-selling techniques in order to boost restaurant sales and increase guest satisfaction
Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture and values of our Company.
Perform other essential duties as required.
Job Requirements:
A college diploma in business or hospitality is required.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or hospitality is an asset.
At least one year of experience working as a restaurant supervisor is required.
Good level of Food and Beverage service experience to lead the team on shift, serving customers with confidence.
Must have Food Safety experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
Ability to handle service issues and customers complaints
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Problem-solving skills and customer-savvy
Willingness to work flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends or public holidays
